Biologist, CESA, President
Mr. Perreault is the founding President of Groupe SCP Environnement Inc. He is a biologist and possesses 34 years’ experience in environment, including 27 heading up Groupe SCP Environnement Inc., mainly in the area of Phase I environmental site assessments, environmental compliance audits (ECA), characterizations (Phases II and III), impact studies and monitoring construction projects.
He is a certified environmental site assessor (CESA) under the Association québécoise de vérification environnementale (AQVE). He has carried out over 5,000 Phase I environmental assessments, a number of which have led to additional Phase II and III work, at residential, commercial, industrial and institutional sites. He has also been invited to testify as an expert witness in various cases.
Georges Jure Simundic
B.Sc. Geology, Vice-President
Mr. Simundic holds a Bachelor’s in Geology and has 31 years of experience in environment, 21 of which are as Vice-President of Groupe SCP Environnement Inc. He worked on a number of major projects involving hydrogeological studies for landfills, as well as site rehabilitation, including tank removal and in situ treatment using mobile units (pumping, ventilation). He has also carried out bioremediation projects, impact studies and many initial and detailed site characterization projects (Phases II and III), several of which involved major spills.
He has also contributed to a number of legal expert opinions on contaminated sites and landfills.
Christian de Serres
Eng., EP(CEA, EMSLA), Director of Operations
Christian de Serres, Eng, EP(CEA, EMSLA), is a project manager with 30 years of environmental experience. Mr. de Serres trained as a chemical engineer and is an expert in environmental and health and safety management systems, more specifically in the fields of environmental compliance audits (ECA), implementation and audit of environmental and health and safety management systems, Phase I environmental site assessments, environmental training, institutional strengthening, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. He is a certified environmental auditor (CEA) and environmental management systems lead auditor (EMSLA), and has carried out over one hundred certification or monitoring audits related to standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 and R2.
As Director of Operations for Groupe SCP Environnement Inc., Mr. de Serres is responsible for managing the office and employees, business development and the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
Biologist, M.Sc.A., Director of Special Projects
Ms. Granger-Godbout is a biologist and holds a Master’s of Applied Sciences from École Polytechnique de Montréal. She is currently a project manager and has over 27 years of experience in environment. She has carried out a broad range of projects in different areas, such as management of contaminated sites, ecology, sustainable urban planning, lab work, management of hazardous materials and more.
She is certified to coach businesses and organizations in sustainable development efforts and for greenhouse gas quantification under standard ISO 14064.
Biologist, M.Sc., Project Officer
Ms. Goulet is a biologist and holds a Master’s in Biology and a Certificate in Environmental Science. She has 22 years of experience in environment and is currently a Project Officer, coordinating activities related to the management of contaminated soil, particularly in Nunavik. She is also responsible for ecological characterizations and represents a number of promoters in applying for authorizations from the Ministry of the Environment.
Among her professional achievements, she has advised municipalities on management of contaminated soil, managed municipal waste contracts, done impact studies and risk analyses, and participated in Bureau d’audiences publiques sur l’environnement proceedings.
